About the FDP

This Faculty Development Program aims to equip educators, researchers, and media professionals with the tools, techniques, and ethical frameworks required to navigate the evolving world of journalism and communication. The program emphasizes fact verification, combating misinformation, and adopting sustainable media practices in the age of digital transformation.

Rules for FDP Attendance, Feedback, and Exam

1. Attendance

• Participants must maintain a minimum of 90% attendance to be eligible for certification.
• Attendance will be taken at the beginning and end of each session.
• Late arrivals or early departures beyond 15 minutes will be marked as absent for that session.
• Absenteeism must be justified with valid reasons and prior intimation to the coordinator.
  
  

2. Feedback

• Participants are required to submit session-wise feedback through the official portal/feedback forms.
• Constructive and professional feedback is expected, focusing on content, delivery, and relevance.
• Completion of feedback forms is mandatory for certification.
  
  

3. Examination / Assessment

• An exam or assessment will be conducted at the end of the FDP to evaluate learning outcomes.
• A minimum of 50% (or as prescribed by the organizers) must be scored to qualify for certification.
• The exam may consist of multiple-choice questions, short answers, or a practical assignment depending on the program.
• Participants who fail to clear the exam may be given one re-assessment opportunity at the discretion of the organizers.
  
  

4. Certification

• Certificates will only be issued to participants who:
  • Meet the attendance requirement,
  • Submit all feedback forms, and
  • Successfully clear the exam/assessment.
